Part bookshop, part café, part low-key salon, Bàrd keeps the lights on into the evening – often until 20:00, with book clubs and events that drift later. You can work at the back on free wifi among art books and local exhibitions, then stay as the day softens into wine, snacks and softly chattering readers. On some nights there's comedy, quizzes or even a bookshop rave: a study nest that happily forgets to be serious after dark.
