Bee Urban (The Hive)

Slip into a bee suit and hear a different kind of city buzz.

Bee Urban is a social enterprise that believes bees and people belong together. They focus on responsible urban beekeeping, horticulture and community growing, and emphasise that people are just as vital as the hives. At The Hive in Kennington Park they've created a forest garden of herbs, fruit and ornamentals. Volunteers and visitors can learn about beekeeping, organic gardening and sustainable living, meet the resident beekeepers and watch honey being harvested. It's a place where the city hum fades into the drone of bees and conversations over tea.
