Notting Hill
One of the UK's oldest working cinemas, the Electric first opened in 1911 and still preserves its ornate proscenium arch and Edwardian details. Plush leather armchairs with footstools and a fully stocked bar inside the auditorium make film-going a luxurious ritual. Watching a classic on its giant screen feels like inhabiting early-20th-century movie magic.
