Grand Junction

Under vaulted ceilings, Arabic songs echo and strangers become friends.

Set within a spectacular 19th-century church, Grand Junction’s Arabic music open-mic nights take you on a musical journey through the Arab world. The programme encourages a supportive diaspora community – audience members are invited on stage to sing or play alongside professional artists. Produced by Marsm, an organisation championing SWANA music, the nights foster connection, challenge stereotypes and let new voices reverberate beneath stained glass arches.

There's a version of the Lark who could tell you what to do before this, and where to go after. She plans evenings around feelings, not postcodes.
