If Poets Ruled the World – Monthly Poetry Open Mic Night
Second Thursdays bring poems, cake and a mic waiting for your voice.
Hosted at the Walnut Tree Café in the Sands End Arts & Community Centre, this newcomer to the poetry scene is as welcoming as its name suggests. If Poets Ruled the World is a monthly open-mic where anyone can share their voice; doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7. Open-mic slots are first come, first served. Expect friendly hosts, budding poets and a relaxed café vibe.
