On Thursday mornings the doors at Christ Church in Kilburn open for tea, conversation and a cooked lunch. Laurence's Larder – run with Sufra – serves a sit-down two-course meal, with meat and vegetarian options, followed by dessert. There's no referral, no payment and no reservation; volunteers cook with seasonal produce and invite anyone to the table. It's a small act of kindness repeated weekly.
