Lesnes Abbey Ruins

Weathered stones cradle voices and laughter under open sky.

The ruined arches of Lesnes Abbey stand among wildflowers and trees on the edge of Abbey Wood. Each summer the Ruined Theatre invites audiences to sit among the ravages of time and watch performances against the crumbling stone. Families picnic on the grass as actors move through the rubble, using the abbey's fractured walls as set and backdrop. It's a fleeting space where stories bloom from brokenness.

There's a version of the Lark who could tell you what to do before this, and where to go after. She plans evenings around feelings, not postcodes.
