Shri Sanatan Hindu Mandir

Step through a lacework of stone into a world where gods and goddesses dance in relief.

Standing on Ealing Road like a carved sandcastle, this temple was built according to the ancient Shilpa Shastras and opened in 2010. Its sandstone walls and domes were hand-carved in Gujarat and assembled without any steel framework, resulting in 210 pillars adorned with birds, animals and scenes from Hindu legends. Inside there are eleven inner shrines and carvings that honour figures from many faiths. The temple is open daily and feels both timeless and welcoming.
