South East London Queer Choir

Nunhead nights echo with queer kin and borrowed keys.

In Nunhead, a queer choir gathers in borrowed rooms and spills out onto pavements for solidarity gigs, protests and a big winter street takeover. Books may be closed to new singers at times, but the sound still ripples through south-east London, borne aloft by quiet joy and a tailwind of mischief. For Larklings, this is one to follow, to stand beside, to hear what resistance sounds like when it's in four-part harmony.

There's a version of the Lark who could tell you what to do before this, and where to go after. She plans evenings around feelings, not postcodes.
