Spitalfields City Farm

A corner of the city where pigs and people take it slow.

Tucked behind Brick Lane's brick and bustle, Spitalfields City Farm is a patch of kindness where rare breed sheep graze beside greenhouse herbs. There's no ticket booth – just a gate into a space that invites you to sit on a hay bale or lend a hand. Awarded the Green Care Quality Mark, the farm prides itself on looking after its animals and visitors alike. Come by for a free wander, or roll up your sleeves and join the volunteer crew – the goats will make sure you take regular breaks.

There's a version of the Lark who could tell you what to do before this, and where to go after. She plans evenings around feelings, not postcodes.
