On 4.5 acres in Tower Hamlets, Stepney City Farm feels like an accidental countryside. The gates are open Tuesday to Sunday and there's no booking required. You can meet donkeys and chickens, learn how to grow your own veg or try your hand at pottery and crafts. As an educational charity it cultivates wellbeing through ecological and high-welfare farming – a green space where the local community keeps the old skills alive while finding new ways to breathe.
