In the River Room at Riverside Studios, Stoke the Embers' Taking Centre Stage brings together short scenes, spoken word and live music from emerging and established artists. It's eclectic and sociable: come for the new work, stay to meet the people who made it, drifting like a feather through evening from one conversation to the next.
