Tending the Heart: A Communal Grief Ritual

Drums, voices and tears weave a communal ceremony of release and renewal.

Embracing Grief hosts this large-scale communal grief ritual in the Old School Rooms at the Round Chapel. Facilitators Sophy Banks, Sarah Pletts, Bilal Nasim, Aama Sade and others guide participants through grounding practices, shared expression and a central grief ritual. Live drumming and song support the arc from grief into reconnection, with time for integration. All forms of grief – personal, ancestral or global – are welcome here, and accessibility needs are considered.

There's a version of the Lark who could tell you what to do before this, and where to go after. She plans evenings around feelings, not postcodes.
