Tucked away on Betterton Street, the Poetry Café is the heart of the Poetry Society. Though it’s no longer open as a café, its basement performance space hosts a regular programme of writing workshops, poetry reading groups, book launches and intimate readings. It’s a sanctuary for writers and listeners seeking words as medicine.
